Thorough assessment, and more than a label
YASS Healthcare was developed around a simple principle: neurodevelopmental assessment should be thorough and clinically robust, while also recognising the individual beyond a diagnostic label.
Autism and ADHD can present differently from one person to another. Our approach therefore considers the individual's developmental history, experiences, strengths, areas of difficulty and the wider context of their life, alongside appropriate specialist assessment.
Our assessment pathways are informed by relevant NICE guidance.

The people behind your assessment
Dr Faten Sabouni
Clinical Lead | Chartered Psychologist | HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist
Dr Faten Sabouni is a Chartered Psychologist and HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist with over 15 years' experience across psychological, cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessment. She holds a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of Manchester and has worked across NHS, independent and specialist services, including senior Lead Psychologist roles.
Dr Sabouni specialises in Autism and ADHD assessment for children, young people and adults, with specialist training in ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA-5, Young DIVA and QbCheck.
Her approach is person-centred, neuroaffirmative and evidence-informed, with a focus on understanding each individual's strengths and needs and providing clear outcomes and meaningful recommendations. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
